The threat of snow is in the forecast, so with a little help on Wednesday I unceremoniously broke down the Twilight Lounge Patio and packed her in the barn for another year.
The clouds were getting darker by the minute and the wind picked up so I worked fast before it rained and everything got wet.
I couldn’t help but think of how lovingly I bring all the patio furniture and deco’s out in the Spring. Seems like it takes so long to set everything up and plant the flowers so it looks just right. But within 45 minutes, the patio was clear. All that was left were the leaves rustling across the flagstone.
Of course my mind is already thinking about next year and what I’ll be plotting for Summer 2015. This year was more somber as there were some major life milestones that passed. Such is life, right?
For now it’s comforting to know she is all tucked in and warm for the long winter ahead.
